Some works come in groups. For example, a series of photography, clothing or jewelry collections, or music albums often consist of more than one item. The question frequently asked is whether every piece of the collection must be registered separately and filing fee paid for each. The answer is no. This would be a very expensive and time-consuming process. If the work can be grouped into a collection or line, we can register the whole collection, album, etc. as one work and each and every item in this collection will be awarded copyright protection. If works are not related, a separate application and filing fee is required for every item.
