The managers and executives who work in multinational companies and would also qualify for the L-1A non-immigrant visa if their job was temporary (all requirement for L-1A visa application that are discussed in Section 1 are relevant for this immigration program as well). If they wish to remain in their United States role permanently, their employer may sponsor them for a green card under an EB-1C category. Applicant's employer should be in business in the U.S. for a minimum period of 1 year before sponsoring foreign employees.
